WTC is constructed using high-quality materials
One
of the most talked after commercial projects in India in recent times
is the World Trade Center. It is designed and developed to meet the ever
changing needs of modern businesses looking for an avenue to expand
their operations beyond the nation. The architects of AN Buildwell has
spent all their time planning, drawing and executing the WTC buildings
to make them highly impressive and the first of its kind in north India.
Only high quality materials are used to construct the buildings to make
them weather proof and damp-proof. High albedo paint is used to prevent
the WTC from getting excessively heated up during the hot summer
months.
Green measures are undertaken
Various eco-friendly technologies and systems are implemented in the World Trade Center in Manesar, Gurgaon. AN Buildwell in Gurgaon
developed World Trade Center uses solar energy to derive energy for
running machinery. Moreover, over-deck roof insulation, unique glazing,
efficient LED lighting, air economisers, water cooled centrifugal
chillers and cooling tower fans are installed in the WTC site to
conserve energy to a considerable extent. It is found that a green
building helps to save energy by up to 30% compared to a non-green
building!
Received LEED gold and platinum rating
LEED
has given the WTC gold and platinum rating for adhering to the
international standards of eco-friendliness. It is also the winner of
many national and international awards such as India’s Best Architecture
(APCPA, 2009), Asia Pacific’s Best Office Complex (APCPA, 2009) and
World’s Best Office Development (IPA, San Diego, USA).
